COSTA CRUISES: Assistant Animator

The Assistant Animator at Costa Cruises is responsible for engaging with guests, promoting onboard activities, and creating a positive atmosphere while ensuring all guests, especially those traveling alone, feel included and informed about available services.

PRINCESS CRUISES: Assistant Pantryman

  • Assists the 1st Pantryman in preparing special breakfast items to meet passenger requests. Properly prepares fruit and cheese platters for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Properly prepares cold fruit appetizers and cold soups for dinner.
  • Performs production in assigned area/station as directed by the 1st Pantryman/Sous Chef/Executive Chef, ensuring quality and consistency by always adhering to company provided recipes and visuals as a minimum standard.
  • Promptly restocks coffee stations and maintains them in a clean and organized condition at all times, and operates the coffee service line.
  • Willingly assists the Executive Chef with special events, which may include fruit and vegetable carving. Promptly picks up food orders from the food service area and ensures proper storage of food.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the culinary management team.

ADORA CRUISES: Sound Technician

Assures adequate technical support to the entertainment activities, through the correct use of the technical sound equipment present on board and in accordance with the operating instructions

RIVERTECH : DECK HAND

 

  • Assisting with docking and undocking the ship
  • Ensure guests can safely board and disembark by setting up and removing gangways and mooring lines
  • A key part of your role is maintaining, repairing, and cleaning the ship and its equipment.
  • Support all ship operations and navigation
  • Keeping clear communication with the crew and officers

RIVERTECH : JR ENGINEER

  • Compliance with the guidelines, instructions (nautical handbook) and Regulations
  • Co-responsible for the impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, on board
  • Active participation in planning and execution of safety drills
  • Take responsibility in emergency duties such as BDO (breathing Device Operator) and all other
  • safety related duties according to internal rules and regulations
  • Monitor and update certificates, technical certificates credentials, and approvals.
  • Responsible for the administrative process and timely submission of all mandatory technical
  • reports internal and external, this in cooperation with the engineer and Captain.
  • Prepare, support, and maintain technical services.
  • Keep the technical maintenance program up to date on a daily basis, (Mastex & Fresh services ticket system).

PRINCESS Cruises: Japanese Speaking

A Japanese-speaking crew member is responsible for delivering excellent service while ensuring smooth operations in the Restaurant, Housekeeping, and Bar departments. This role involves assisting Japanese-speaking guests, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and supporting daily tasks to enhance the overall guest experience.

VIKING RIVER: Guest Services Agent

  • Serve as the main information center for all guests and handle on-board sales transactions
  • Operate phone switchboard, cashless system, and safety system
  • Provide 24-hour concierge services and ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures
  • Maintain the guest infotainment system and update the logbook daily
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and assist with medical disembarkations
  • Coordinate and confirm guests' departure arrangements, organize guest documents, and assist with shore excursions.

VIKING RIVER: Utility

Part of our Galley team on our River vessels, the Utility always provides high standards and consistency of cleanliness of the crockery. In charge of absolute cleanliness and tidiness in the scullery in accordance with Viking Standards and Operating Procedures. The Utility reports to the Executive Chef

SCENIC CRUISE : ORDINARY SAILOR

The Ordinary Sailor carries out work under the Bosun. He performs cleaning, polishing of wood, brass and other metal parts, painting or lacquering of the bridge superstructure, lifeboats, or the ship’s sides. He follows splicing and cable repair onboard, covers the safety roles assigned by the Safety Officer, and remains in operation at the bow or stern, carrying out the orders from the Bosun.

SCENIC CRUISE : ABLE SEAMAN

The Able Seaman remains on lookout on the Bridge during navigation. He sends specific signals to ships in the vicinity, paying attention to marine traffic. At the express order of the Captain or the Watch Officer, the Able Seaman is positioned on the steering column to guide the ship’s manual steering system. During navigation, if not assigned to the watch, the Able Seaman stays at the bow or stern. If not on watch, the Able Seaman performs cleaning, polishing of wood, brass and other metal parts, painting or lacquering of the bridge superstructure, lifeboats, or the ship’s sides.
