ADORA CRUISES: Assistant Bar Manager

He/she is in charge of supporting the Bar Manager in achieving company goals especially assuring excellence in bar service and beverage production with strong emphasis on cost control and good salesmanship, providing consistently speedy, professional and courteous bar service through close supervision, demonstrating good salesmanship through staff motivation and training, assisting the bar manager in arranging cocktail parties and special functions, producing professionally typed documents as a form of onboard and ship to shore communication.

Assures adequate technical support to the entertainment activities, through the correct use of the technical light equipment present on board and in accordance with the operating instructions

ADORA CRUISES: Galley Operations Coordinator

Supervising Galley Operator, assuring the entire galley areas, and material are clean in accordance with public health safety standards and Company set standards and procedures

Provide supports in the storerooms during operations and during the cruise, in accordance 
with Company procedures and standards

PRINCESS CRUISE LINE : DECK CLERK

  • Perform safety duties as required by ERP.
  • Support the Lifejacket card and equipment handout to embarking crew/ as directed.
  • Distribute the Emergency lists.
  • Monitor the work and rest hours of the Deck Department, report past or predicted non-compliance to the Staff Captain.
  • Assist the Training Officer with scheduling and record keeping.
  • Maintain non-AMOS checklists filing, such as Tender pre-use, Lifeboat hoisting, Toolbox, WPS trainings etc.
  • Monitor the ‘permit to work’ administration: check if all permits opened by Deck Team have been opened/closed properly and have all required checks, signatures and dates.
  • Manage the drill/training absentee/excusal lists.
  • Assist the Safety Officer and Bosun with requisition and inventory.
  • Coordinates Deck department AIMS (work orders) including entering HESS findings.
  • Prepare the In Port Manning schedule for the deck department.
  • Prepare and monitor Deck department landing orders and requisitions
  • Maintains the Deck department stationary supplies.
  • Coordinates Deck department Uniform requisitions.
  • Administrate the Deck department reporting requirements for the Port Expenses Report.
  • Coordinate Bridge visits in liaison with the Captain
  • Maintains AMOS records.
  • Assists the Safety Officer with safety certificate record keeping.
  • Assist the Captain and Staff Captain to compile and distribute meeting minutes as required.
  • Coordinates the crew cabin inspection routine with Housekeeping.
  • Keep HESS information boards up to date in all crew areas.
  • Coordinates Deck department early clearance list for Deck Crew with PPO.
  • Maintain updated Deck Department phone list.
  • Support the Captain and Deck Department with administration tasks as required.

Assures excellence and efficient bar service, beverage production and revenue generation

HOLLAND AMERICA LINE: Shorex Staff

  • Actively promote the use of the Company’s proprietary Navigator App and responsible for acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively assist guests with the workings of the App.
  • Perform and manage other duties as assigned by the Shore Excursion Manager and/or described in the Shore Excursions Operating Procedures.

SCENIC RIVER: Executive Sous Chef

  • Provide professional and courteous service at designated workstations in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Have knowledge of food menus and company recipes
  • Welcome and greet guests when in the restaurant or in any public area
  • Ensure proper setup and “mise en place” for lunch and dinner service as per company standards
  • Ensure the preparation of crew food
  • Assist the executive chef with training sessions of the galley team

SCENIC RIVER - Dishwasher

  • Provide a professional and courteous service at designated workstations in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Ensure proper procedures and setup at the assigned workstation in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with vegetable cleaning, cleaning of fridges and storerooms as instructed by the supervisor
  • Ensure correct storage of cleaning materials and chemicals
  • Ensure correct utilization and recycling of food leftovers, assuring food safety rules and regulations are followed
  • Clean and polish chinaware
  • Notify the supervisor about breakage and damage of any equipment and machinery
  • Maintain cleanliness in front and back of the house according to HACCP and safety regulations
  • Ensure correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Always wear a clean and presentable uniform when in public areas
  • Report any potential safety hazard
