SCENIC CRUISES: Laundryman

The Laundryman is responsible for the daily operation of the onboard laundry facilities, ensuring that guest and crew linens, uniforms, and other laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and delivered according to company standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining hygiene and comfort onboard.

SCENIC CRUISES: Galley Utility

The Galley Utility is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley (kitchen) and its equipment. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring all utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas are cleaned and ready for food preparation and service, following strict hygiene and safety standards.

COSTA CRUISES: Printer

As a Printer, you’ll be at the heart of our onboard photography operations. You’ll ensure the highest quality in photo editing and printing, while supporting the team in delivering memorable visual experiences to our guests.

COSTA CRUISES: Tailor

Assures uniforms and linen repairing in order to assist the Hotel Storekeeper and Assistant Hotel Storekeeper Uniform in all their functions, in accordance with Company procedures

SCENIC CRUISES: Chief Baker

  • Following work schedules as set by Executive Pastry Chef
  • Area of responsibility is set up in accordance with direction from supervisor and SOP manual Scenic Ocean Cruises.
  • Cost control for all the outlets in accordance with the budget.
  • Participation in loadings.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly and securely stored away when not on duty and to keep assigned clean and tidy.
  • Report work-orders to their supervisors when deficiencies are noted or when maintenance is required and to follow up on the work orders in a timely manner.
  • Follow and execute the Shipboard Sanitation programs.
  • Ensure that all outlet concepts and the services guidelines are followed as per company expectation.
  • Control the appearance of his/her personnel as regards grooming, hygiene, cleanliness of uniforms and shoes.
  • Ensure to speak at all time English in front of guests.
  • Responsible to ensure that all PH logs, cleanliness logs, IPM logs are well maintained and in order as per the company standards.
  • Carry out duties as designed by the Executive Pastry Chef
  • The Scenic Eclipse is an expedition discovery yacht. All crew members are expected to assist with related expedition tasks as necessary.
  • Must have very good organizational skills and show attention to details.
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Must be service minded with an outgoing charming and friendly personality.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker.
  • High level of accuracy whilst being efficient.

Scenic: Cabin/Laundry Steward

Responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest service in line with Company procedures. Duties include:

  • Cleaning and servicing up to 16 guest cabins, including turndown and embarkation setup.

  • Maintaining public areas, guest amenities, linen, and supplies.

  • Handling guest and crew laundry, as well as checking laundered items for quality.

  • Assisting with guest satisfaction through courteous service and participation in Company activities.

  • Supporting embarkation, events, and daily program needs.

  • Reporting guest complaints, damages, or deficiencies promptly to the Supervisor.

  • Ensuring hygiene and safety compliance in all areas according to HACCP regulations.

SCENIC CRUISES: Chef de Partie

  • Providing professional and courteous service on designated workstations according to 
    the Company standards and procedures
  • Retaining full knowledge of food menu and recipes 
  • Welcoming and greeting of guests according to the Company standard
  • Performing special duties during additional F&B events such as Farewell Parties
  • Ensuring proper setup and mise en place as per Company standards
  • Preparing show plates as instructed by the Supervisor
  • Ensuring proper handover between shifts
  • Taking an active role in creating a positive environment between all departments 
    onboard
  • Ensuring correct food item rotation (FIFO), storing, labeling, and temperature control at 
    all workstations
  • Informing Supervisor about any guest complaint
  • Notifying Supervisor about breakage and damage of all equipment and machinery
  • Ensuring and maintaining cleanliness front and back of the house according to HACCP 
    and Safety regulations and inform Supervisor accordingly
  • Ensuring correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Participating in all Safety Drills as per Captain's orders and ensuring solid knowledge of 
    designated Safety role
  • Reporting any potential Safety hazards immediately
