AIDA & COSTA : Recycling Operator

  • The safe operation of the garbage system and garbage handling (cleanliness and safety in his resort , garbage separation etc) 
  • Basic understanding of different garbage handling & different types of garbage
  • Basic understanding of applicable MARPOL and other international requirements in terms of garbage treatment
  • Control of garbage disposal, correct garbage separation
  • Fulfilling the regulation in force (MARPOL,SOLAS,ECP etc)
  • Correct operation of the incinerator
  • Cleanliness and safety of the garbage handling area following the garbage management plant
  • Keeping appropriate garbage record
  • Ensuring garbage safety distances
  • Cleaning and minor repair works
  • Assistance in safety duties on order of the Chief Engineer
  • Control of the garbage disposal, to meet the delivery instructions by the staff captain

Assists (and replace when necessary) the Inventory Officer in all functions, in order to provide reports and on board and ship-to-shore communications, in accordance with Company procedure

Entertains guests with various activities promoting interactions between them, and manages the Adult Animators with the goal of guaranteeing the quality of the product offered to guests, respecting at the same time the guidelines of the Product Plan

Coordinates the Technicians under direct responsibility in order to manage the maintenance of Entertainment technical equipment, according to Company standards and procedures
