PRINCESS & PNO : FITTER -TURNER

  • Performs quality repairs and machining using appropriate equipment such as lathe, milling machine ,and grinder
  • Always performs all machining to a high level of accuracy in accordance with technical specifications or representative samples
  • Willingly assists Fitter Mechanic in the day to day repair and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
  • Works with the senior First Engineer and the senior technical storekeeper to ensure sufficient stocks of spare works shop consumable are maintained on board at all times
  • Promptly provides accurate work history and part consumed data for input into Amos
  • Maintains strict adherence to safety, cleanliness and tidiness when performing equipment maintenance, paying special attention to ensure that all maintenance- related tools are used and stored properly

  • Always actions deck defect chits in a timely and cost effective manner 
  • Effectively and efficiently maintains and overhauls all deck equipment as directed by the reporting officer
  • Maintains strict adherence to safety, Cleanliness, and tidiness when performing equipment maintenance ,paying special attention to ensure that all maintenance - related tools are used and stored properly
  • Work with the reporting officers and the senior technical storekeeper to ensure sufficient stocks of spare parts are maintained on board at all times
  • Promptly provides accurate work history and parts consumed data for input into AMOS

 

PRINCESS & PNO : GP DECK CREW

  • Promptly assists with maintenance (not aloff) as instructed by the Bosun/2nd Bosun
  • Always participates in the efficient cleaning and painting of tanks
  • Efficiently and accurately participates in stations as required by the Bosun 
  • Effectively and accurately assists with tender operations as instructed 
  • Always assists at gangway when required

  • Consistently exceeds Restaurant defined targets by driving a personalized guest and teammate centric culture, reducing friction points and mitigating negative surprises.
  • Assist guests during the dining hours with wine recommendations, service and selections for perfect pairings with their meals.
  • Actively ensures that beverage service teammates in the assigned dining locations are working together as company ambassadors and making a positive and professional impression at all times.  
  • Promotes and ensures integration of Medallion Class products, services and applications.
  • Hosts and ensures proper set-up of all wine tastings. Works closely with Culinary and Dining teams on wine and food pairing dinners and special events, as instructed by the F & B Director.
  • Maintain all wine storage area inventory, updated and reconciled with physical inventory.
  • Drives the Service Excellence culture and platform by continually reviewing guest comments and feedback, as well as circulating in assigned areas, to ensure satisfaction.
  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction standards and rating for wine service consistent with company goals. Personally gets involved with handling guest concerns.
  • Ensures that all guest orders are processed promptly and accurately through the onboard POS system.
  • Confirms all charges on company accounts are processed correctly and in a timely manner, and any inconsistencies are escalated to senior management. 
  • Accountable for all wine stock held in the assigned location. 
  • Monitors all wine sales & promotions and ensures teammates are actively promoting sales while maintaining a guest-centric approach.
  • Owns their experience areas and oversees the implementation and execution of our wine program in alignment with the Princess Cruises standards for consistency in the guest experience.
  • Conducts daily/weekly wine training for all front-of-house ranks in the Food & Beverage department.
  • Ensures cleanliness and proper storage is maintained in the wine cellar and the wine displays as per public health standards.
  • Promptly performs all other job duties as assigned by senior management.
