Job Description

  • Provide professional wine recommendations based on guests’ preferences and menu selections.
  • Present, open, and serve wine according to proper service standards.
  • Recommend suitable wine and food pairings.
  • Maintain wine inventory and ensure proper storage and stock rotation.
  • Support wine sales and deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Assist with wine tastings, promotions, and beverage-related events.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of the wine service area.

Job Qualification

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Wine Sommelier in a hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or cruise ship.
  • Valid Sommelier or recognized wine certification is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, grape varieties, wine regions, and food pairing.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and guest-service skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willing to work onboard a cruise ship.
