The Chef de Partie (CDP) is a crucial member of the culinary team, responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service within that area. They are responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. position is responsible for the preparation of various menu items according to the provided recipes and photos

Job Qualification

2+ years experience in a food preparation position in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).

• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as recipes and manuals.
• Ability to speak English, write clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and crew.
• Ability to understand instructions given in English during emergency life saving procedures and drills.
