Job Description

The Senior Bartender oversees the daily operations of assigned bar venues onboard the cruise ship, ensuring exceptional beverage service and guest satisfaction. This position combines hands-on bartending duties with leadership responsibilities, including supervision of bar staff, stock control, and adherence to company standards in service, public health standards, and safety.

Job Qualification

Education & Experience:

• Preferably a four-year course graduate or a Senior High School graduate in any related Hospitality Management Course.

• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience, or with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role in bar department (cruise or land-based hospitality preferred).

• Strong beverage knowledge, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and bar trends.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage a team and maintain high service standards.

• Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and POS systems.

• Conversant in English, both in oral and written; additional languages are an advantage.
